Perched on the cliffs of Dover Heights, this family home is shaped by the warmth of Ibiza and the rhythm of the Sydney coastline. Our clients sought a place that felt both grounded in its landscape and lifted by memory, where the essence of a finca could meet the ease of a contemporary Australian home.

Arched thresholds and built in seating recall the organic architecture of Ibiza. Sculptural lighting and handwoven textiles soften the spaces and bring intimacy. Every detail was considered not just for appearance but for how it feels to live with over time.

We drew on pared back layers and earthy textures. Whitewashed walls and timber beamed ceilings bring timelessness, while a palette of stone, sand and sun faded neutrals speaks of both the Mediterranean and the Pacific. Openings frame the ocean and capture breezes, and materials such as plaster, raw timber and natural stone add depth and calm.

This is a home of movement and stillness. Interiors flow with ease between shared and private realms, embracing the family’s social nature and their desire for retreat. It is a home grounded in place yet inspired by elsewhere, holding the rhythm of the sea, the spirit of Ibiza and the changing seasons of family life.
